Since 1999 the KCGS is the organizer of a transnational Network program University Network in Gender Studies for the countries of the former USSR

the transnational Network program includes:

• Institute of International Summer Schools in Gender Studies in Foros, Ukraine
• KCGS Journal “Gender Studies” — the only academic journal in Gender Studies in the countries of the former USSR for today
• Book series “Gender Studies” — founded in 2001 under the support of the J.D. and K.T. Macarthur Foundation
• Informational Network in gender studies, comprising an electronic discussion mailing list
• Research projects
• International partnership projects
• Strategy international interdisciplinary seminar in Gender Studies for the countries of the former USSR
• Database of modules in Gender studies
• Reader Introduction into Gender Studies in three volumes
• Program in distance learning in Gender Studies for graduate students and young professors from the countries of the former USSR (2002-2007)
