international interdisciplinary strategy seminar in gender studies

The goal of the series of the seminars is to discuss conceptual peculiarities of gender discourse and practices of institualization of gender studies in the post-Soviet countries with the directors of the leading gender institutions and critical intellectuals of the former USSR. The im/possibility of the political influence of gender studies on the structure of the power/culture in new political condititions is also included into the goals of this seminar.
The strategy seminar is held once a year in Moscow at Moscow Office of J.D. and K.T. Macarthur Foundation.
