KCGS publications

KCGS Publishing Program has been existing since 1994 and includes publication of research and educational literature in Gender Studies (readers, translations of the research by the leading western authors, materials of post-Soviet research in Gender Studies) in the countries of the former USSR.

In 1996 the KCGS compiled and published the first reader titled Theory and History of Feminism in Gender Studies in the countries of the NIS. Since 1997 periodical editions in Gender Studies: academic journal Gender Studies (issued two times per year) and journal New Image. Ukrainian Feminist Journal (in Ukrainian, Russian, and English) have been published within the KCGS Publishing Program. In 2001 the KCGS jointly with the publishing house Aletheia (Sankt Petersburg) founded two book series: Feminist Collection and Gender Studies.
