The course is meant for young lecturers and post-graduate students from the countries of The former USSR, who are writing their theses and/or are giving lectures on gender related themes. 30 admitted candidates are expected.

The course starts on Sept, 1st . All graduates will receive certificates.

The participants of the program receive:

- program courses which include the main thesis of the course, questions for self-examination, themes for discussions and the final essay.
- readers which are compiled as courses supplements. They also include photocopies of the articles, monograph extracts and sections etc. All programs and readers are published in a compact disc “Introduction to Gender Studies”.
- the possibility of scientific tutorial on one’s thesis led by the professor of the course (individual e-tutorials) and interactive virtual communication between students on our site www.odl.kcgs.org.ua;
- the chance to discuss the course topics during online seminars and conferences with professors and other students.

As a result of the course the students are supposed to write a final essay.

The term of the course is 9 months.
